LiveSwapAI lets you use live AI effects with your camera in the desktop app or a browser. You need a working camera, an internet connection, and an account to start a live session.

Start in the desktop app

  1. Download the Windows 11 x64 ZIP from the download page, extract it, and run the MSI installer. Open LiveSwapAI.
  2. Select Sign in and complete authorization in your browser. If the app does not reopen, use the authorization code shown in the browser.
  3. Select Open camera and allow access. Choose Face Swap and a reference image; you can use a preset, More, or Upload.
  4. Check that an AI model is available, then select Start Face Swap. Wait for the live output. You can change the reference or effect while the session is running.

When the virtual camera is installed and available, select LiveSwapAI Camera in a compatible meeting or streaming app and check its preview. See virtual camera setup.

Try it in your browser

Open the web preview, sign in, choose a model, effect, and reference image, then open your camera. Select Live Output and start the session. Demo videos are examples, separate from your live result.

Stop and check usage

Select Stop when finished; use Close camera to turn off the camera preview too. Some models require credits, and the remaining reservation can take time to return after a session ends. Learn about credits and usage.

If the camera does not open, check its connection and permissions, then follow webcam troubleshooting. The macOS desktop version is coming soon.
